Questions?
Find answers to our most frequently asked questions.
Our tournaments typically consist of round-robin play. This means every player/team competes against every other player/team in their group, with the top performers advancing. Bracket format varies based on the number of players/teams in each tournament and/or division.
Registration is easy! Visit our official website, navigate to the Tournaments page, select your desired tournament, and follow the prompts to complete your registration. You can register individually or as part of a team for doubles events. You can also search for the tournament directly on Pickleball.com.
Divisions are based on age division and skill level. Age brackets may vary but typically start at age 14 and go to 85+. Skill level is broken down into: Beginners (1.0-3.0), Intermediate (3.5-4.0), Advanced (4.5+). Furthermore you can select to compete in Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles (options may vary depending on event).
Players are matched with others in similar skill levels (e.g., 3.0 vs. 3.0) and in similar age brackets. This ensures fair competition. Depending on the number of players/teams in each division, you may play with higher or lower skill levels in your age division, but will always be medaled based on skill level. This is to ensure that you receive playtime.
How do I know what skill level I am?
You can assess your skill level based on self-evaluation, club rankings, or official tournament ratings such as USA Pickleball (USAPA) Tournament Player Ratings (UTPR) or Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR). General skill level can be determined by the below points:

Intermediate (3.0 – 3.5)
- Can sustain short rallies and control ball placement.
- Developing strategy but may struggle with unforced errors.
- Comfortable with dinks, volleys, and some third-shot drops.
Advanced (4.0 – 4.5)
- Consistent, strategic play with good shot selection.
- Effective dinks, drop shots, and net play.
- Strong court positioning and teamwork in doubles.
Pro-Level (5.0 – 5.5+)
- High-level mastery of shot variety and strategy.
- Plays at an elite tournament level.
- Can anticipate opponents’ shots and control pace.
